Common risk factors

About the possible "common risk factors," the comments from respondents in the Evaluation Survey pointed out that certain sources of electromagnetic fields may be considered as serious risk factors.

This is particularly right for:

A – electromagnetic fields from abroad which cannot be controlled by citizens, such as those of the GSM/UMTS base stations, high-voltage cables buried or suspended, and the railway lines;

B – electromagnetic fields that are under personal control, such as:

(1) all equipment radiating intentionally high frequencies (DECT digital phones, WIFI, WLAN, and other wireless communication systems);

(2) equipment radiating low frequency electromagnetic fields, as byproduct of its functioning, and connected many hours a day (fans, refrigerators), electronic equipment with digital power supplies, such as computers and audio equipment, and all kinds of tools supplied with electric power; especially: electric blankets;

(3) the mains continuously emitting electromagnetic fields.

C – electromagnetic fields of the houses of neighbors (PC, TV, washing machine, issued through walls and floors).

D-electromagnetic fields in transport vehicles (diesel-engined cars, diesel engines with electronic fuel injection system; certain trains, planes).

It should be noted that the biggest concern of the people is not the GSM/UMTS Tower in their neighborhood, but before the regular electronic and electrical appliances at home or in the Office.

In other words, although the sources of high-frequency may pose a threat to short distances, are most troubling to them equipment and appliances exist in most homes. DECT phones, laptops and TV are among the most disturbing.
