Levels of health risk
Like categorize the different levels of health risk from electromagnetic radiation?
On the basis of references in Biology evaluation guides of Housing, in particular to electromagnetic radiation, are defined the following categories of concern:
| No worries: This category corresponds to the highest degree of requirement. Has as reference the natural conditions, without artificial electromagnetic radiation. |
|
|
Slight concern As a precautionary measure, and especially with regard to sensitive people and patients, should be performed corrections whenever possible. |
|
Serious concern The values in this category are not acceptable from the point of view of biology. These situations involve the application of measures of correction. |
|
Extreme concern In this situation, measures of remediation should be implemented urgently.
In addition to numerous practical cases, there are scientific studies that indicate non-thermal biological effect in the short term, in the case of electromagnetic radiation, with implications for health within this range. |
