Official levels of radiation

What are the official recommendations on the maximum levels of electromagnetic radiation?

The main guidelines of radio acceptance levels, come from the International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection (ICNIRP). These levels have application in most of Europe.

What is the Foundation of these official recommendations of the levels of electromagnetic radiation?

These levels are established to protect against direct effects, such as electric shock and heating of the tissues of the body. The ICNIRP does not consider that the existing scientific evidence about the adverse health effects, the non-biological effects, as at lower exposure levels.

That justifies an attitude of greater safety
.

A the ICNIRP recommendation differs from those of many other authorities thatdecided to recommend maximum public exposure levels more prudent to chronic involuntary exposure (i.e. long term).
