What is Bioiniciative?
In 2007, the BioInitiative Working Group released a report on the evaluation of the research on possible health effects of exposure to electric and magnetic fields (EMF). The report covers both low frequency (ELF) EMF. associated with electric power as the radio frequency (RF) EMF sources such as mobile phones and transmitters.
In 2012, was presented an updated edition of the same report.
What conclusions result from Bioiniciative Report?
A main conclusion of the BioInitiative Report is that the limits for exposure of the public to electromagnetic fields (EMF) established by the International Commission on non-ionising radiation (ICNIRP), and by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), and other organizations, are insufficient to protect the health and require a substantial reduction.
The BioInitiative Report analyzes widely health effects, as well as diseases related to the fields of the electromagnetic spectrum.
